The prototype shown here is an unpainted 4up of Darth Vader from the Death Star Escape micro playset. Figures for the micro line were sculpted at a 4:1 ratio, thus the enormous size difference between the 4ups and their production counterparts. Vader is cast in a green urethane referred to as dynacast, a urethane commonly used at Kenner during the mid 80's.

The 4up fits nicely into a series I've put together for this Vader as shown above. The run is comprised of the unpainted 4up, a silicone mold, and a hand painted resin squeezing.
