4-UP PAINTMASTER (088-005)

This hand painted 4-up hardcopy represents a true grail for me as far as Micro Collection prototypes go. I regrettably passed it up upon its initial secondary market surfacing through The Earth Collectible Toy Mall. In my mind this is the Micro Collection's single most dynamic snowtrooper pose. This particular pose heralds from the mail away "Build Your Own Armies" mail-away set. As one can see, this is one of the largest 4-ups and it is a paintmaster as well. Unlike many 4-ups, this piece is cast in a brownish material called carbalon. I can't thank James Gallo enough for his assistance in securing this piece for my collection years after its initial surfacing.
