Kalibak Unpainted First Shot

Above, we see an example of a first shot Kalibak. You'll notice he is totally unpainted. First Shots are used to test the steel production molds. They are sometimes referred to as "test shots", since they are testing the mold prior to mass production. First shots are often chracterized by a lack of copyright markings and/or holes in the feet. You can't tell from the pics, but this is an undated first shot. Copyright markings were etched into the steel mold at a later stage Interestingly, this figure has a hole in the left fist, which differs from the production version. Perhaps Kalibak was originally envisioned with a weapon for both hands.
